As 2021 comes to an end, we’d like to wish all of our StarBase 118 Fleet and family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
What a year it’s been!
We rocked with the Battle of the Bands aboard the USS Veritas, chased Shadows with the Cartel prison convey, and saw them follow in the footsteps of Voyager (only intentionally) as they headed out into the Delta Quadrant to become Starfleet-in-Residence on Amity Outpost. We rolled as the USS Resolution raced against the clock and a CloQ, suffered the explosion of a Genesis Device right where their no Genesis Device should be and jumped ship to the USS Excalibur-A as the beautiful Resolution met an untimely demise as a tree.
As the USS Juneau discovered a thousand-year-old vessel we jammed with them on their Return to the Ring and shunted into high gear returning to Skarbek onboard the USS Gorkon. We saw the USS Arrow make First Contact with the Venthian, celebrated the liberation of a dilithium mine by the USS Constitution-B, and sent a cavalcade of joy to StarBase 118 Ops for their defeat of the Cult of Molor. Meanwhile, the USS Chin’toka started a Federation settlement in the Par’tha Expanse, and the USS Thor returned triumphant in Starfleet wargame simulations.
Who could forget memorable moments like the promotion of Sal Taybrim, Kali Nicholotti and Roshanara Rahman to Commodore, promoted Randall Shayne to Captain, revelled in our 26th Annual Awards, our Halloween Contest, Writing CHallenge, and celebrated together in so many more ways.
Thank you to everyone for your continued contributions to this universe, to the HUGE ongoing storyline we’ve helped to develop together for the last twenty-seven years, and look forward to a brighter tomorrow.
