Our last Top Sims runoff closes soon – vote now!

As we wind down the Top Sims Contest, it’s time to vote in the final runoff round of the contest. The winner of this runoff will proceed to the final round, where it’ll compete against the two sims that won the earlier runoff rounds this year. Your vote has a big impact on which sim will head to the final round, so don’t delay!

TO START, please read these sims:

NEXT, vote for the sim you like the most!

Click here to go to the poll now. The poll closes on Friday, September 15!

DON’T vote for a sim just because you serve on the same crew as the person who wrote it. It should be the sim that’s the best written, with strong characterization, and evocative or descriptive scene-setting. Any crew that “stuffs the ballot” (by having everyone on the crew vote for the same sim to ensure that it wins this poll) will be eliminated from the contest and shamed by the rest of the community as terrible, terrible cheaters. That would be awful.

Good luck to the nominees!

Vote now in Top Sims Runoff Set 3

The poll is now live for Runoff Set 3 of the 2017 Top Sims Contest! In the runoff rounds, members (like you!) decide which sims head to the final round of the Top Sims Contest in December.

The Top Sims Contest needs judges like you

Who, me?!

Yes, you!

Do you like fame, adventure, gold-pressed latinum, and Orion slave girls and boys? Who doesn’t?!

Too bad we can’t offer any of that… But we can offer the gratitude and adoration of your shipmates and the fleet by offering to be a Top Sims Judge!

Being a Top Sims Judge is easy, it only requires a half hour or so of your time every two weeks, and you receive clear guidelines on how to participate. Each ship and installation in the fleet have a representative Judge in the Contest, and because terms are limited, there is always a need for new volunteers to be Top Sim Judges. Not only is this a fun and exciting way to get involved with the fleet OOC, it also introduces you to what the members of the fleet consider to be the best examples of what our game can offer.

If you’d like more details about what is involved with being a Top Sims Judge, please peruse the Contest wiki page and forums. Then, speak to your Commanding Officer and let them know that you’d like the opportunity to represent your ship or installation!

In the meantime, keep nominating sims that you feel are worthy of consideration for Top Sim, and make sure to vote in all the Run-Off Sets and the year-end vote for Top Sim of 2017.
