As a global community, with a diverse array of members who are of many ages, nationalities, sexual & gender orientations, and religions – we can expect that, at times, our communication styles and language barriers may lead to some awkward moments! Not to mention that occasionally feeling uncomfortable about your interactions with other people is a totally normal part of any community.
Until now, it was incumbent on our members to know how to respond to these situations. But now we’ve assembled some guidance we believe will be helpful for everyone as a template to work from, giving encouragement and permission to be firm and assertive about our boundaries.
