Welcome one and all to the November/December round of the Writing Challenge! After a wonderful set of entries in the September/October phase of the competition, we’re proud to announce the winner: Lieutenant Jaxon McGhee, for his story “Tomorrow, Today, Yesterday“!
This round, we’re following a “What If?” theme. The title, as chosen by Lieutenant McGhee is, “What if Earth had been destroyed in 2387 instead of Romulus?” Many of you will have taken part in missions that revolved around the destruction of Romulus as depicted in the most recent Star Trek film, but how would things have been different if it had been Earth that we had lost? How would the rest of the galaxy have responded? And what would happen to the Federation?
There’s plenty here to get your teeth into, and the judging team is eagerly anticipating entries from those who entered last round, those who’ve entered previous rounds, and those who’ve never entered before, so pick up your pens and get scribbling!
