Koreli System, Gamma Quadrant – Starfleet officers feared dead, and diplomatic tensions on Koreli IV mounted, rebellion feared.
Shocking footage has emerged on the social media network Tidbitter from Koreli IV, showing a Starfleet officer being shot at point-blank range by a Zet. The officer’s status is unknown, but he has been identified as Lt. Lhandon Joseph Nilsen, who recently assumed the role of diplomatic officer aboard the USS Octavia E. Butler. He was part of one of several teams with whom the OEB has lost contact. It is believed that Nilsen was with a group of Starfleet officers who passed through Kaej and visited the underground movement on Koreli IV.
A young officer aboard the USS Octavia E. Butler, who refused to be credited, stated that “diplomatic relations with the current King of Koreli IV, Toal’Dius, have broken down,” adding that the team have suspicions that “Capt. Rouiancet and Doctor Moydal have been taken prisoner”.
Meanwhile, the USS Octavia E. Butler was the victim of an internal act of sabotage by Prince Da’Ni’Grend. The prince has since been granted asylum following the death of his father, King Ma’det’ain’ths’ng’in’Grend of Koreli IV. Sources indicate that the prince attempted to use the OEB’s computer to upload his father’s e’Tezel, the data essential for the Zet’s re-husking process.
Back on the planet, reports of rebellion among the Danni have surfaced, emboldened by another group of Starfleet officers in the city of Maiton. These officers were seen engaging with rioters and leading a storm on the Koreli Jewelry Headquarters. Witnesses report that something incapacitated the officers, who were then taken inside the headquarters.
A Starfleet shuttle was spotted heading toward the floodgates at Lake Lahl. It is understood that the officers discovered evidence of sabotage at the gates, which are used by the Zet to subjugate the Danni. More on this breaking story to come.
