Deep Space 33 — After routing Consortium interests in the region, the USS Ronin returns to the station for shore leave alongside the USS Khitomer.
As both the Ronin and Khitomer underwent repairs—Ronin’s being far more extensive—the two crews took the opportunity to mingle as the Ronin enjoyed a much-needed shore leave. The leave began with a memorial held on the flight deck for the seventy-three crew members of the Akira-class ship who tragically perished during their two encounters with Singen Wrath.
After mourning their fallen, the crew focused on repairing both the ship and themselves, taking advantage of a rare opportunity to share their leave on the station with the former crew of the USS Arrow. In many cases, new friendships were formed. While the engineering teams from both the Ronin and DS33 worked tirelessly to mend the battered Akira, some crew members even managed to squeeze in a scientific expedition to a newly formed star system, reportedly rich in a mineral known as Maleconite.
There have been reports of sudden transfer orders for some members of the Ronin’s crew. While specifics remain unconfirmed, rumors suggest they have been reassigned to the USS Chin’toka, which was last reported as decommissioned and undergoing extensive refit. We are attempting to confirm these reports through official channels, though Federation Day celebrations may cause delays.
Activity on the station has noticeably increased, leading to speculation that the Ronin and Khitomer may be cutting their respective leaves short. The reason remains unclear, but some suggest it may be related to the Lattice Alliance. As always, we will provide updates as the situation develops.
