Tyrellian System returns to normal as the rogue planet makes a swift exit

PALANON, TYRELLIAN SYSTEM — The appearance of a rogue planet in the home system of Tyrellia has left devastation in its wake as the moons of the sector feel the destructive force as it departs.

Reporting from the moon of Palanon in the Tyrellian system, emergency services have responded to the moon-wide destruction. Many of those trapped in the rubble of various buildings have now beamed to safety and distributed among field hospitals set up in the disaster’s wake. Starfleet has rendered significant aid from multiple ships of the task force stationed in the sector, and no less from the flagship USS Gorkon (NCC-82293), under command of Vice Admiral Quinn Reynolds.

One such field hospital has been set up in the Enilus Historical Museum in Yarista City, ensuring it can provide the best care to the populace with immediacy. Medical professionals from all around Palanon have responded to the call for aid, lending their services to great effect.

“It is incredible that we got as many out as we did,” explained Senator Cerali, minister for health. “I am extremely proud of our people, who have come together to help one another in times of crisis.”

Crew members from the Gorkon have also taken to venturing underground into some of the most treacherous parts of the moon, including recently uncovered cave systems created during tectonic plate movements. They intend to install state-of-the-art seismic regulators into the crust of the moon to prevent events of such magnitude in the future.

Tyrellians are not unaccustomed to upheaval and natural disaster, having relocated from their original home planet of Tyrellia to the moon Palanon due to shifts in the planet’s atmosphere. Concerns are now radiating over the pre-warp civilisation on the close planet of Senya, and what effect the rogue planet has had on the indigenous population.
