Sunny shores of Casperia Prime await for the crew of the USS Arrow

CASPERIA PRIME, ALPHA QUADRANT — Returning to civilization after their temporary stranding, the USS Arrow takes a welcome break on shore leave.

The USS Arrow (NCC-69829) landed in Casperia Prime to begin a welcome shore leave after being trapped on a mysterious jungle world called “The Midnight Planet” by the crew.

Harrowing days of seclusion, as well as accepting Cadet Amanda Crossley’s destiny, took its toll on crew members. Crossley was revived by the planet in the form of a human/fungal hybrid after she died when her escape pod went off course and crashed. Ens. Jacin Ayemet, a science officer, was particularly affected by her loss and sought advice from both LtCmdr. Quentin Collins, Chief Science Officer, and LtCmdr. Maz Rodan, First Officer.

Meanwhile, helm officer Lt. Chloe Waters and Capt. Randal Shayne bonded in the gymnasium during a friendly training session. LtCmdr. Artinus Serinus, Chief Security Officer, and Ens. Ar’Gorvalei, medical officer, went to a local taco restaurant on Casperia Prime before a noisy client caused issues. The swift acts of the Starfleet couple restored peace, however a small trip to sickbay was required.

“It’s not something we see on Casperia Prime every day!” said one diner. “However, we’re grateful Starfleet was present to settle the issue so we could all get back to our tacos.”

In other news, LtCmdr. Rodan returned to Trill for a brief visit to see relatives and speak with the Guardians of the Symbionts concerning the Zhian’tara – the Trill Rite of Closure. When confronted with death on the Midnight Planet, Rodan realised that it might have been the end of the Rodan symbiont entirely. During his brief visit to his home world, he spoke with the Guardian who will oversee the Zhian’tara, then returned to the Arrow to ask the crew members he felt closest to if they would agree to participate in the ritual.
