STARBASE 104 – Despite having been extinct for over 600,000 years, the mysterious Tkon empires continues to wreak havoc on the lives of Federation citizens, the latest being a member of Starfleet aboard the USS Constitution-B.
While the ship recently docked at Starbase 104 for shoreleave, Lieutenant Choi Ji-hu began investigating imprints left on the glial cells of Lt. T’Reshik following contact with an ancient computer believed to be a Tkon artifact discovered on Leron III.
Complications with the investigative surgery quickly escalated the situation, endagering T’Reshik’s life. Only the quick actions of Doctor Shar’Wyn Foster, followed by telepathic intervention by Commander Saveron, resolved the situation and saved the Starfleet officer from permanent harm.
The cause of the complications was an unplanned mind meld between Choi and T’Reshik prior to the procedure and Captain Rajel faced the regrettable necessity of determining the appropriate punishment for both crewmembers.
