Species Close-up: the Pifili

Part of 2 of a 2 part series on a non-canon species encountered by the USS Challenger. Part 1: the Aarakocra.
The planet of Kaclla II, visited by the Challenger of the course of a number of years, is home to two distinct species created by the crew, and developed by the Species Development Committee (SDC). The second species we’re covering are the Pifili, a feline species native to this planet. Their habitats were threatened by the Aarakocra, who migrated to the planet 500 years ago, and hostilities were quick to break out between the two people, led by the Pifili.
The Pifili have a hereditary government with intrinsic nobility. They are technologically developed, and have developed large-scale industrial facilities and many large cities. As a way of remaining connected to their heritage as hunter/gatherers, many among the adult population participate in group hunting on a yearly basis.
