MIRALON III — After time spent on joint patrol and quiet celebrations, the USS Chin’toka is dispatched to assist with a viral outbreak on the Freeworld of Miralon III.
The USS Chin’toka recently rendezvoused with its sister ship, the USS Astraeus, in the Partha Expanse for a joint patrol mission. While the patrol revealed nothing out of the ordinary, it provided a valuable opportunity for the two crews to meet, mingle, and collaborate. Reports suggest inter-ship interaction remained professional, with no major incidents noted.
The Chin’toka’s Operations Department was particularly active during recent shore leave. A new operations center was established, and Chief of Operations T’Ama was promoted to lieutenant commander and appointed second officer. T’Ama also hosted a surprise baby shower for the ship’s first officer, who recently welcomed her first child—again, with no drama reported, a welcome change from past eventful shore leaves.
Additional promotions included Dr. Leenaya Edrei to lieutenant junior grade, and Commanding Officer Serala to the rank of captain. These advancements came just ahead of the ship’s new orders to Miralon III.
The Freeworld of Miralon III—a gas giant—has reported a series of viral outbreaks and requested assistance from multiple interstellar organizations, including the Federation and the Romulan Free State. With both Federation and Free State representatives involved, the mission appears to be a peaceful operation, at least for now. However, with tensions rising in the Partha Expanse, all eyes remain cautious.
Diplomatic meetings are expected in the coming days. Stay tuned for updates as the situation on Miralon III develops.
