The Executive Council of UFOP: StarBase 118 is pleased to announce that Kalianna Nicholotti has been promoted to the rank of Rear Admiral!
Admiral Nicholotti joined us in May 2009 and first took command on February 4, 2012 (Starbase 118 Ops). During her tenure in our community, she has also commanded the USS Excalibur-A, USS Apollo-A, USS Resolution, USS Excalibur-A (again!), and is currently the CO of the USS Eagle. During our time with us, she has been decorated with many of our staff awards, including the Strange Medallion, Sarek Star, Kathryn Janeway Award, Christopher Pike Pendant, and the Honor of the Admiralty.
Marissa has also left her mark in many other areas of our community, including serving as one of our Academy Deputy Commandants and facilitator of the Social Media Team, having previously helped out with the Image Collective, Publicity Team, and FNS, and holding staff positions like Captains Council Magistrate and the organization’s first Fleet Task Force Coordinator.
