Delightful shoreleave without complications is a welcome respite for StarBase 118

StarBase 118 — The senior staff of StarBase 118 enjoys an unusually restful and rejuvenating shore leave.

Following the conclusion and management of the very naughty AI known as Lemoncable, Commander Gogigobo Fairhug proclaimed that the crew of StarBase 118 earned a nice long shoreleave.

Commander Fairhug welcomed back Lieutenant Karen Stendhal who returned to StarBase 118 as the StarBase Counselor. Many crew were excited to reconnect with their old friend.

Commodore Taybrim made an appearance on StarBase 118, inviting inquisitive officers to join him on Raskor II for a treasure hunt. Captain Theo Whittaker, Lt. Commander Solaris McLaren, Lieutenant Madison Marsh and Lieutenant JG Sasch Kreshkova joined in the search for a hidden bunker that contained intelligence and contraband from the time when Commodore Allan Kinney presided over the Trinity Sector.

Ensign Samuel Woolheater and Lieutenant JG Korras wasted no time is planning festivities, gathering new friends together for lunches, dinners and parties. This included a vacation to Carraya IV that included Lieutenant Vitor Tito and Lieutenant JG Kreskova for some enthusiastic camping.

“I’m not saying I loaded an entire crate of marshmallows into that shuttle. I’m just saying it was a big crate, I didn’t need an antigrav unit, and I caught a glimpse of the words ‘Stay-Puft’. That sounds like a camping trip to me!” reported Petty officer Frederick Lille.

Other crew tended to more personal matters with Lieutenant Marsh deepening her relationship with Lieutenant Haukea Willow, Ensign T’Reyna and Ensign Kel forming deeper connections with fellow crewmates and Lieutenant Ross seeking medical advice from Lt. Commander Shar’Wyn Foster for a nagging shoulder injury.

Commander Fairhug expressed the high hopes that this revitalizing shore leave would ensure top performance for StarBase 118’s next mission.
