This last week has been a week of firsts for my little son, 17 months old: First skinned knee, first time managing to climb onto the couch without his sister’s help, first time catching the cat (and getting rewarded for it with a swat from the same). He is in many ways the most stressful thing in my life but, at the same time, my motivation as well.
This led me to the top for this week’s poll. As we saw numerous times over the course of the various series, children come along on many starships and, as a result, are often exposed to dangers far beyond their experience. Should they be there? Should there be restrictions on which ships, or possibly which types of missions?
