David R. George III has written many a Star Trek novels, including The 34th Rule, the DS9 Pocket series, and Worlds of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Volume 3. He is no stranger to the treknoverse, and has also partaken in writings for the televisions franchise, magazines and other publications. During the debut of his writing career, he co-forged the first episode of Voyager, which was nominated for Best Writing in a Genre Television Show or Telefilm. From there, his works blossomed into the many books that we know about today set in the realm of The Original Series, The Next Generation, and Deep Space Nine. A plethora of his work has appeared numerous times on the New York Times Bestseller List, and also for USA Today.
And speaking of best sellers, Mr. George has yet another up his sleeve. Having already been released on February 14th in paperback and e-book, Star Trek TOS: Allegiance in Exile is proving to be the next big diamond on any trekkies’ reading list! Having recently discovered an M-class planet with a single lone city, Captain James Kirk and the crew of the Enterprise investigates an undiscovered planet that is completely devoid of life signs. Things get a little stranger when the crew discovers a shipyard just full to the brim with sabotaged vessels from across the galaxy. Knowing that they were too far from either the Klingons or Romulans to label them the culprits, they must uncover the truth. Who did this? You’ll just have to read to find out!
Again, remember to stop in on Saturday, February 23rd (12pm PST / 3pm EST / 8pm GMT / Sunday AM for Australia) for an exclusive Q&A session with David R. George III, a video chat session that shouldn’t be missed!
