Forums Roundup – May 2013

forums roundupWith summer upon us, temperatures are warming up and snow is disappearing. Are our brains thawing out as well? The world around us is coming to life, which may bring a new spark of creativity to our writing. Of course, this May also will bring a new Star Trek movie to us as well, making this summer one that we are all certain to remember. But while you’re having a blast with warmer weather and all of the pre-movie excitement, don’t forget about the many things going on around the Starbase 118 forums!
Here’s just a taste of the Forums happenings this month:
Come welcome the newest graduates from the Starbase 118 Training Academy! Are you a recent (or not-so-recent) graduate? Keep in touch with the officers you went through training with here!
It’s not always easy to play your duty post. Learn from others who have been simming in your post, or share your experience and join the conversation in our Duty Post threads!
Join Commander Liam Frost in the Top Sims thread, where you can submit the best sims from your ship for a chance to compete for the year’s Top Sim!
Find out about special events happening online and offline, or join in one of our Fleet-wide gaming threads just to connect with other simmers from ships across the Fleet!
Finally, if you have some extra time to share, and you want to give back to the Fleet, come help us in one of our teams or other Fleet-wide activities that need your help!
And don’t forget to come share with us what you think of the movie once you see it. Until next month, see you – out there!
