Star Trek Online Season 3: Genesis

Just in time for Christmas, Star Trek Online has delivered new content for current subscribers. They have also given those who have never played the game more of a reason to try it. As of today, Star Trek Online Season 3: Genesis has been released at no cost to subscribers. The release notes include a full page of additions and fixes to the game, and you may have to read the changes twice to take in all of the hard work the developers have put into the game over the past few months. Two of the most notable enhancements are the crafting at Memory Alpha and Episode Replay.
I was never really interested in crafting, but the improvements to the system have me curious to check out some of the maximum level items available at Memory Alpha. My favorite feature will likely be the Episode Replay. Every player now has the opportunity to go back to those previously played missions and find some of the things you may have missed the first time. For those of us who have played the game since launch, there are accolades that you missed, but you now have the ability to earn those in addition to the enjoyment of replaying great missions like “City on the Edge of Never”.
