We’re saddened to lose a long-standing member, Fleet Captain Sidney Riley, who resigned last week after a nearly 10-year membership. Having joined in September, 2004, she served on the USS Wallace and USS Independence, and commanded the Independence-A, Tiger, Tiger-A, and for a short time, StarBase 118 Ops. She was a member of the Executive Council, acted as the Academy Commandant from 2006 to 2013, and facilitated a number of OOC teams and committees over the course of her tenure with us.
After her resignation, the crew of the USS Tiger-A was moved to other vessels, and the ship was decommissioned. We wish FltCapt. Riley the absolute best as we welcome her ship’s crew to other vessels and look forward to their new adventures.
