writing-ideas-originalThe title of this article might have captured you, and now you’re expecting a magic formula on how to write better, or how to make your sims the best the can be. Unfortunately, that’s not quite how it works. Writing, like all things, requires practice and repetition that can take years. Even then, it can be difficult to master the art of writing, but that doesn’t mean that you don’t improve over time.

In fact, half of what makes Starbase 118 so wonderful is all the practice, and improvement, that is made.

Perhaps one of the greatest resources we have as writers, are other writers, who have stumbled on gems of knowledge and nuggets of wisdom during their time as writers. It is inevitable that writers find wisdom as they practice their trade, regardless of what kind of writing they do. Perhaps that is the driving force behind these 25 Insights on Better Writing; writers who have found information on their trade while actually writing.

In today’s world, where written communication is so incredibly important, we must not forget that we should be continually improving and getting better at the writing itself. Take a moment to read over these snippets and insights and let us know if you’ve found one, or more, that really speak to you.
