State of the Federation Address form

The State of the Federation Address is an important part of our group, which helps us put our vision of the past, present and future of the group into words. We need a  summary from ALL Commanding Officers and Taskforce Leaders to compile for the annual report. This form has been created to collect the information needed from each group.

  • Your information

  • Should be something like "Tristan Wolf". If it displays anything else, please update it.
  • Please update to your correct email address if necessary.
  • You can find your writer ID on the wiki.

  • Ship or task force information

  • Use your FO if you are reporting for a ship.
  • If you're reporting for a task force or committee, "active" means the person has participated in some way in the past 60 days. For a ship or base, use only the number of people listed on your official roster.

  • Reporting on the last year

  • Be specific. Consider what you spent the most time on this past year or what was the most frustrating for you.
  • Be specific. For example, instead of saying "Started a mentoring program," instead say something like "Trained three staff members on how to act as mentors, and implemented mentoring for all members under the rank of Lieutenant."

  • Goal-setting

    Before you begin thinking about goals for the next year, think back on the last 12 months and consider what worked, and what didn't work. Think about the ways you want to improve in the next year, continue to motivate team or ship members, and how you can help improve the overall atmosphere of our community and add value to our game.

    Goals should always have both a specific metric, as well as a method for getting there. For example: Instead of saying "find more members for the team," say something like "increase membership by at least 20% by taking advantage of the fleet email blast system to send out notices at least once every other month."
