Applications and Academy Graduates for July 2020

Every month, the Academy staff works to compile the statistics about our recruiting and training for the fleet’s informational purposes. Let’s take a look at how we did as a fleet in July.

This first graph depicts the number of applications that the fleet has received each month this year. The month of July saw sixteen new applications which is a slight decrease from the previous month. Despite the decrease, July stands as the third highest number of applicants in one month so far this year.

The following chart shows how our new members found us, according to their application:

This final graph shows how many people graduated from the Academy during the month of July. The fleet saw fourteen new graduates during July, which is our highest number of graduates in a single month so far this year. We also had two applicants who applied during July, but whose training did not finish until after the beginning of August.

This first graph depicts the number of applications that the fleet has received each month this year. The month of June saw 19 new applications which marks the month as the second in a row with the record high for new applicants so far this year. This is an increase of two new applicants over the previous month.

This final graph shows how many people graduated from the Academy during the month of June. The fleet saw eleven new graduates during June, which is a slight decline over the previous months but still a strong number. We also had four applicants who applied during June, but whose training did not finish until after the beginning of July.

This first graph depicts the number of applications that we have received each month this year. The month of March saw eight new applications which is the lowest number so far this year, which is a strong number considering the state of things going on in the world right now.

This final graph shows how many people graduated from the Academy during the month of March. The fleet saw seven new graduates during March, tying February for the most so far this year. It also is our highest graduation rate so far this year marking 88%. We also had three applicants who applied during March, but whose training did not finish until after the beginning of April.

The fleet saw only one new graduate during January, marking it as the lowest number in a couple of months. However, five of our nine new applicants did not conclude their training until after the start of February, so we will likely see an increase in graduates next month.

Every month, the Academy staff works to compile the statistics about our recruiting and training for the fleet’s informational purposes. Let’s take a look at how we did as a fleet in December.

This first graph depicts the number of applications that we have received each month this year. The month of December saw eleven new applications which ties May as the fourth highest this year. It is also an increase from the three previous months.

The following chart shows how our new members found us, according to their application:

This final graph shows how many people graduated from the Academy during the month of December. The fleet saw four graduates in December marking it as fourth time in 2019 that the fleet had four graduates. We also had one applicant whose training did not conclude until after the start of January.

For the year of 2019, the fleet saw one hundred fourteen new applicants, which averages out to roughly nine per month. We also saw seventy seven of those applicants graduate, which works out to a passing average of sixty eight percent.

This first graph depicts the number of applications that we have received each month this year. The month of November saw six new applications which is an increase from the two previous months.

The following chart shows how our new members found us, according to their application:

This final graph shows how many people graduated from the Academy during the month of November. The fleet only saw one graduate during the month of November. This marks November as the month with the lowest pass rate so far this year. We did however have one applicant who applied in November but whose training did not conclude until after the start of December.

December is looking up with a number of new applications and two training groups on deck already!

This final graph shows how many people graduated from the Academy during the month of October. The fleet saw four graduates during the month of October. This number includes one applicant who applied during the months of September, and we had one applicant from October whose training did not conclude until after the start of November.
