Athena’s crew kidnapped by alien station

DANUBAE SYSTEM — The stardrive crew of the USS Athena have been captured by an alien station.

Upon entering the Danubae System, the USS Athena’s stardrive section ventured too close to the abandoned Danubae Station L39 (code name “Dreamstar”) and activated the station’s automated “survival mode”. This mode transported the entire crew from the Battle Bridge and most if not all of the civilians (the exact number of people was unspecified) into the massive station against their will.
The Captain’s Yacht was taken for her first spin as Captain Faranfey along with her personal guard led the away team to the station after her missing crew. Once on the station they activated the station’s AI only to find that it was malfunctioning, and that it kidnapped the crew so they could fix it. With the help of an AI named Victoria the Station and the Athena were able to transport freely between them, something the stardrive crew had been attempting to fix since their capture.
The Dryary Confederation: friend or foe?
From the outlook of the Athena for now they are considered friends as they are the ones who helped Captain Faranfey discover how to safely get her shuttle into Station L39. However due to an agreement with the Danubae themselves the Confederation are restricted from actually aiding anyone inside the station.
News from the Crew – When asked about the peculiarities of this mission the crew had this to say, “Nice place to visit, wouldn’t want to live there,” said Lt. Cmdr Hsina Amman, an archaeologist marooned at L39 for three weeks.
Out of the Shadows – This month Ensign Frank Hawkins attempted to fill the role as acting Chief Engineer while Chief Engineer Lt.JG Cassandra Ezi was in sickbay although the mission landed him in sickbay as well and now they are both recovering. While on the station L39 the Starfleet Archaeologist and Science Officer Lt.Cmdr. Hisna Amman was found marooned by her vessel and is now joining the Athena crew.
