Forums Roundup: November 2012

October has rushed by faster than we might have imagined! It seems like just yesterday we were welcoming in 2012, but now we are looking at the colder weather of the winter and even the rush of another new year. And just like the many things that are going on around us with the holidays approaching, so too are there many things going on around the Starbase 118 forums! Whether you visit daily, or just a couple of times a week, be sure to check out the following the next time you log in.

The Halloween avatar contest was a resounding success with most ships participating. Thanks to all who joined in and congrats to the winners!

It’s almost time again for our annual awards ceremony. Soon you’ll be seeing emails about nominations and the like. Get acquainted with the awards before this begins and learn more about why we do this by starting here:

Get together with officers throughout the fleet and have some fun playing one of the many forums games set up here:

There are still some ships working on their Blockbuster missions. If you are still involved with the Klingons, be sure that you stop by here and leave a log or report letting us know what’s going on in your sector:

And if you’re a Marine, head on over to our duty post simming area where you can take part in the ongoing training operation ‘SubZero’:

Don’t forget; you are what drives this group and all of the wonderful things we can offer. If you have a few minutes of time, there is most certainly a team that could use you. Check out the many activities that you can get involved in here:

And like every month, there is always much more going on. Stop by the forums and get involved with members of the fleet from your ship and others, and learn more about the officers you sim with and those you don’t. It’s part of what makes our fleet unique, together, and community based, so don’t pass up these opportunities today!
