Introduction
Our group uses two means to keep members of the group in touch with one another and up to date with fleet goings-on a fleet-wide newsletter: the UFOP Reporter, created in 1996, and the Tactical Data Report, introduced in 2003. Both these newsletters serve valid functions in ensuring that our members maintain a connection with the larger group as a whole. It's important to us that we are a community, and not a simply a loose confederation of ships -- our main goal in SIMming is interaction.
UFOP ReporterThis newsletter is distributed once every other month, and deals with broad issues of SIMming in UFOP: StarBase 118.

Tactical Data Reports
TDRs are summaries of the current fleet situation. They include plot synopsis' of all ships in the fleet, promotions of officers on those ships, and other information.
