Personal History

Megan's your typical Irish girl, smart, driven and a fiery temper. She grew up in Naul, a small town just north of Dublin, but was never suited for small town life.

Academically she was always ahead of her friends, and at fifteen was accepted into the Royal College of Surgeons at Dublin. She has always been interested in finding out what makes living things work, so it was natural for her to major in Xenobiology. She also took her minor as Surgery.

Megan's Parents ran a hostel in Naul. They died when she was sixteen in a shuttle accident, and she went to live with her cousins, Patrick and Moira Kelly, in Dublin.

After graduating from college with honours, she entered the Starfleet Academy's Medical Intern Program. She did well, and could have graduated first in her class ... but her socal life got in the way

Megan has no real ties on Earth ... the stars are where she will find her fate

Following mission to Atlanta V, Simon Keyes once again stepped into Megan life. After being onboard for a few days, she agreed to take him up on his marriage proposal.

Megan and Simon were married in a ceremony aboard Victory, and took their honeymoon on Earth.

238103.12: Megan is attacked in sickbay by Lieutenant JG Anderson who has a Borg implant causing him great concern. The resulting injuries cause her to loose her unborn son, Ian Michael Keyes. Her attitude on life change drastically after the loss.

237709.4: Entered the Starfleet Academy's Medical Intern Program.

237905.25: Assigned to USS Victory as Chief medical Officer.

237908.2: Promoted to LTjg following mission to Lithron system and encounter with the Illyow.

237910.12: Promoted to LT following mission to Basaf system and encounter with Jem'Hadar.

238003.23: Promoted to LtCmdr.

238012.07: Promoted to Cmdr following leave at Starbase 118.

238106.14: Upon the departure of LtCmdr Cicero, Megan leaves medical and assumes the post of First Officer for USS Victory.

238111.04: Captain Hurne is called mysteriously away on a classified mission. Megan is left in command till his return.

238202.04: Captain Hurne returns, Megan steps back into her position as First Officer of USS Victory.

238205.29: Megan is given command of a new Nova class survey vessel .. the USS Aurora. Aurora is a Nova class science vessel.
