We understand that your privacy is important to you. As such, we require no personal information ­- just a valid e-mail address, which we keep as secure as possible. We'll never sell or give away your information!

Regular training groups
We endeavor to respond to all applications within 12 hours. Training missions are also held at regular intervals, with the next one beginning on Monday, Sept. 8, 2008, so get your application in soon!

Prospective Members Tour

Welcome to UFOP: StarBase 118, a Star Trek Play-by-Email Role Playing Group. We are home to a fleet of eight vessels, both new and long-standing, which serve out of our “base of operations,” the mammoth StarBase 118. Our base sits at the crux of Federation, Romulan, and Klingon space, making it an exciting place to live and work. But the fun doesn’t stop there – all of our ships regularly play out plots all over Federation space.

In UFOP: StarBase 118, you become a member of StarFleet, and are assigned to one of the fleet’s many starships which, among others, include the Akira, Prometheus, and Sovereign class vessels. Crewmembers play as part of a team in a wide range of missions, from science, to exploration, to full scale battles.

Our aim is to offer our members the most realistic and exciting Play-by-E-mail simulations that can be found on the internet today, while providing a friendly online community that we are proud to be a part of. We’ve been around since June of 1994, and were founded by Fleet Admiral Tristan Wolf, who has remained with the group since it’s inception. Indeed, many of our staff have been a part of the group for five or more years. Over time, everyone has a chance to become a staff member within our group, by showing leadership, dedication, and actively helping others to take part and enjoy our community!

This tour is not intended to teach you how to sim as you will be taught that when you join the group. The object of this tour is to make applying to our group easier, by removing the need to wander around our site trying to find out what you do and do not need to know about us to join.
