Just wanted to remind everyone that today is the 18th anniversary of our founding on June 15, 1994!

Congratulations on being such an amazing group of simmers, and here's to another 18 years

Being with this group off and on, for over a decade myself, I must say it is a real thrill to watch this group thrive and succeed throughout all these years. I have had the opportunity to SIM with some great writers and storytellers throughout the years, and despite the changes and the new recruits, the quality and skills of those in this group continue to improve. It has become more streamlined in so many areas, I couldn't even begin to list it.

I must thank you Admiral Wolf and all the volunteers and helpers in the group throughout the years that have made my experiences here ones that I will never forget. It is amazing, that after almost 2 decades, this group continues to forge ahead with new ideas and plots with new and old faces in the group. It is a testament to the hard work and dedication that comes from a dream. Here's to the future

Until I saw that article I was trying to figure out who’s your character. I thought it’s something well known and I’m one of very few or only one who don’t know. In a way I was right, but wrong way. How many people take your work for granted? Before this article I know I did. I’m sorry.

I get that a lot -- that's why I changed my signature banner to say "Founder." Not out any particular need for attention, but simply because a lot of people just didn't know I started the group

Anyway, glad you got something out of the article -- Capt. Jaxx put in some good work on it!

I am thinking that there is a complete myriad of people that have come thru the starbase ... and we just keep on going. 18 years is a really longish time I am proud to be a part of this.
