Hello POW fans!

This week, with Valentines Day on the way, we're asking whether or not there's a member of any of the Star Trek series or films that you have a crush on! If you do, then let us know who your dream Trek date would be! We'd also like you to answer this super-tough question if you vote yes: is it the actor or the character who you'd like to go on a Valentine's date with?

Remember - keep it clean, and no fighting if someone else picks the same character/actor as you!

As a teen I was a Data squealing fangirl. :D Having had the difficult experience of growing up with Asperger's Syndrome I totally got where he was coming from. Getting dropped in amongst humanity without the instruction book isn't easy, and there were times when I felt like I was looking at the species from the outside. So Star Trek actually made things easier. And that scank Tasha Yar had to die.

The reboot Spock is quite... acceptable. :D

I had a mild crush on one Trip Tucker. He's a bit skinny -- and goofy -- for my tastes, but that accent! Attached File  trip-tucker.gif   55.02K   4 downloads

I had a crush on Tom Paris. Love him to bits - The guy that plays him now produces Chuck, which makes the actor even more loveable . . .

I'll have to say that yes, I felt pretty attracted to Deanna Troi and wished to meet Marina Sirtis. Finally on 2010 I was able to see her in person and talk to her meeting a warm, funny and close person behind the character.

Fourthed? Yea, I think I'd have to jump on board with this crew...though when I was much much much much younger - say, 13 maybe, I had this thing for Tom Paris (Voyager had just come out within a year or two). In all cases, it's the character, not the actor. Something about a lot of these characters make them appealing - probably their techy smartness and uber bravery in the face of always dire circumstances.

Everyone loves a hero, right? :D

Ok... I'm gonna say it. I realise I might get kicked out of the fleet for the stigma, but back in the day I had a thing for Wesley Crusher. Mock me if you will!!

These days, I have to say I'm a big softie for 2009's Chekov. Anything Anton Yelchin is in pretty much gets my vote.

Wesley Crusher? Seriously?! I am mocking you all, ESPECIALLY you Mr Wilde. Have you never seen Stand By Me?!

Actually, I can't mock too harshly, my secret Trek crush would probably have to be Beverly Crusher - it's a the foxy redhead thing.

Mockers gonna mock

Also, Stand By Me is a great film, but if you fancy Wes Crusher don't watch it! It'll be very much like fancying Daniel Radcliffe - and then rewatching Philosopher's Stone. Wrong!

Best just stick to Big Bang Theory... "WHEATON!!!"

Data. Hands down. Second season Data, not Nemesis Data. And also, the new Spock.

Jadzia Dax for me. There's one episode in season 5 of DS9, episode 2 I believe, where the crew are trying to salvage a crashed Jem'Hadar ship. She wears a barette, and is looking especially nice.

I don't remember much else of what happens in the episode...

When you're a child and struggle with school, it's so appealing to see anothet child who can do it all so good and be the one to save the day. I could never understand all that "we hate Crusher" thing. For many people in my generation he was idol who made us continue education as far as possible.

Yes, Wesley Crusher for me, too.
