Way back in the dark ages of simming, when AOL and Prodigy ruled the interwebs, live simming was more common than email. The gathering mostly happened in AOL chat rooms, and took place at specific times. I kinda miss those IC chats, and I was wondering who might be interested in participating in a live sim during the monthly chats?

We'd have to work out some details -- how to integrate people who were there/not there each month, etc. -- but I think it could be nice to have a more directed chat experience, and just have the OOC chat be kinda secondary

I was thinking we'd shoot for an hour, which means it would probably last 2 hours

Being in the uk but having an odd sleep pattern, I'd be willing to go out of my way to participate at a time that better catered to the US simmers than catered to us Brits - Sounds like a fun idea

I'd be willing to adjust what time we have this as well to try and help as many people as possible attend. =)

Do we need to change the time? We tried to pick a time that ensured as many people as possible were at least awake: 11 A.M. Pacific / 2 P.M. Eastern / 6 P.M. GMT.

I think it'd be a blast, that's where I got my original start in simming many, many moons ago. I would be very interested in joining in on this, but it'd be better if we could back it up an hour or two later in the day...of course I know this negatively affects our across the pond folks.

Living in the UK would make doing a full 2 hour live sim practical but i'd give it a go.

Not turn-based! It can get a bit hectic at times -- just a matter of watching what's going on around you.
