We're looking for the best character profiles on the wiki! Is yours, or someone from the crew, the best-of-the-best? Nominations should, at the bare minimum, meet these qualifications:

• Have a character image with info-box
• Be well laid-out, aesthetically pleasing
• Have no spelling or grammar errors
• Be properly and fully categorized
• Use the "Advanced" or "Complex" template

Submit the link to the profile in this thread to nominate it, and yes, you can nominate your own! Feel free to update yours to bring it up to spec, and then submit. If you haven't started yours, check out the "Creation and Upkeep of a Character Page" tutorial on the wiki - it walks you through, step-by-step.

The best profiles will be chosen as "Wiki Profile of the Month" and be posted on the Community News, and be marked with a special icon.

She had a lot of good ideas which I'm going to blatantly steal tactfully borrow and credit appropriately for my own PC/NPC profiles!

Is anyone interested in taking this on and making it a new Team?

At first, I was thinking I would just pick the best ones and make them a "Featured Article" on the wiki. But now I'm thinking we can do much more and make it more meaningful Here's some ideas -

1. Allow people to submit their character profile for consideration as "Profile of the Month." Best ones end up on something like this.

2. Profiles that aren't ready would be given some tips on how to improve. Perhaps some folks would help improve the look and coding?

3. The best elements of the profiles could be added to the Creation and Upkeep of a Character Page tutorial. (i.e.- "here's a template for your picture/stats..." etc.)

4. Profiles of the Month would be featured on the Community News, and perhaps the creator of the profile would get a badge?

I like your idea but it looks like you didn't get any replies! I think it would be a good way for people to get more active on their wiki and the forum. It might also help encourage people to learn new skills in developing a better wiki, etc.. That's my views... I thought it was a good idea which is why I put my opinion down; should anyone else look at this and want to give there opinions to so it can become another fun thing to look forward to here on the forums!

Actually, I have to agree. Any bit of fun that encourages people to get more active on the wiki and look after their bio is good with me. I particularly like the part about offering tips and helping people improve their bio. If this is something we still want to go ahead and do you can count on my support to get it done.

I have to find and add few more things from the history of character (pre-Academy stuff) mentioned in various sims. I remember what they were, but lack some names and particularities to can add it to wiki, but it's just a few sentences so all-in-all page is finished.

I'm sure I missed some categories, but I really need help with those.
